Enyimba midfielder Kingsley Sokari is anticipating a very intense match between Nigeria and Algeria in the final of the 2015 CAF U-23 Cup of Nations.
Samson Siasia led his team to a 1-0 win against hosts Senegal on Wednesday to set up a final against the North Africans who themselves like Nigeria confirmed participation at the 2016 Olympics with a 2-0 defeat of the South African U-23 side.
Sokari who was dropped by the former Nigerian international spoke with Completesportsnigeria.com as the African continent awaits the finale to the CAF U-23 AFCON that has provided plenty of twists and drama.
"The final will be very interesting. Both teams met in the group stages and it ended 0-0. Now they will both aim to win, that will be like a war," Sokari said.
"I wish I had made the team but I was eventually dropped before the team departed. All the same, I give glory to God and wish my friends there all the best.
"The most important thing is that we qualified for the Olympics."
Senegal will face South Africa in the third-place on Saturday. The top three teams are guaranteed places at the football tournament of the 2016 Olympics while the losers in the third place final will be involved in a play-off.
