It was a good day for Nigerian music when the iconic photo of Rap mogul Jay Z, and Chocolate City’s Ice Prince made its way to the internet. Here was a man who 10 years ago, was in the throes of poverty in Jos, right next to one of the greatest rappers ever and CEO of Roc Nation in New York. Ice Prince had stopped by to have meetings on partnering with streaming service TIDAL. The fruits of this meeting came in when the rapper became the first African to premiere his video ‘Boss’, on the platform. Ice Prince later stopped by the world’s biggest Hip-hop show ‘Breakfast Club, on Power 105.1.
